Red Hat Halloween Luncheon - Mt Shasta Cafe, Michigammee. MI 10-12-2011

Some of the Red Hat Queens got together for a Halloween Luncheon, Some came in Costume.  We played some neat games and then sang some songs... Lots of fun... It was another beautiful day..

Another Beautiful Day October 10. 2011

It was another beautiful day yesterday..  Many more leave had fallen, but there are still some on the trees.
Did some work around the house and made my famous Venison Roast.  Dan has not hunted for some years, but our friends up the road do and every year they save a nice size venison roast for me to make before we leave for the winter.  When it is done you would not even know that it was venison.  I have had so many compliments on my venison roast over the years.. Eileen had the dinner at their home, she made the fixin's and I brought the roast.  Eileen made a delicious homemade apple pie and Dave brought some of his homemade bread... What a feast.. 

I have a busy week ahead of me, I have to take Herbie to the Vet today for his annual check-up and shots,

Herbie's vet appointment went well today, and he gained 1/2 lbs since last year.  

We stopped at Deer Lake on the way home and sat and enjoyed the area..

Herbie got to walk around and find some new sniffs.

This  is Deer Lake, Dan and mine favorite little lake that we go to some times

to enjoy the area.

Weds.....  going to a Halloween luncheon at Mt. Shasta restuarant in Michigamme, Mi,.. Thursday; doing a lunch with a bunch of the neighbor ladies, Sat... meeting some friends for lunch and going to a craft show and a quilt show......Then the following week is getting trailer loaded to head south... in-between our Dr. appointments..     Have a good week, as I know I am.     ~~Later~~
