We are back home and nothing much to write about. We are back to our routine and some stuff might not be that interesting but I am in the mode to keep it going and I don't want to stop..
April 23rd Monday
Dan is getting things organized in the barn to put disc brakes on our Landmark.
April 24th Tuesday
26th degrees Went into town and got my hair cut and picked up a few groceries.
April 25th Wednesday
26 degrees this morning. Gave Mr. Herbie a bath. He looks good.
Ron and Eileen came down for coffee and dessert. Molly came also and was happy to aggravate Herbie.
April 26th Thursday
36 degrees this morning and snowing.
April 27th Friday
Had breakfast with the girlfriends this morning. It was sure nice to see everyone again.
While in town I did a few errands. Dan has been busy all week putting disc brakes on the 5th wheel in between wind gusts.
Later, Ron and Eileen, Dan and I and Mary went for dinner in Mary's motorhome. She took it out of storage and was doing maintenance at Eileens house.. Had a wonderful meal and then of course we stopped at Dairy Flo for ice cream cone for dessert..
April 28th Saturday
Another cold morning, but it did warm up a bit later in the day. Dan and Ron went to Escanaba to a Gun show. I had alot of errands to do in town. I picked up Eileen and on the way we noticed that there was a bake sale at the church, so we stopped there and bought a few things, then on to the ice arena to pick up some red pine plugs that Dan wants to plant in the front part of the property..then I had to go to the Auto Parts store and exchange some fuel lines for a different size. Then we went to the grocery store and then that all our errands were done, we went to the casino for lunch.. After lunch we went and put a few quarters in the machines and I only lost $2.00.
I noticed that our carpet was wet by the front entrance and I thought that Herbie had an accident. So I wiped it up and put a towel down to absorb and dry .
April 29th Sunday
Slept in this morning and when I got up Dan was waiting for me to tell me that we have a leak in the dishwasher. I felt bad that I blamed Herbie.. So he went and pulled the dishwasher out and checked everything out. Now he is going to have to get a part to repair it. I told him that it is 11 years old, maybe it is wore out and we need a new one..Anyone who knows Dan knows what his answer was...
Ron and Eileen stopped in for coffee and a visit and they are coming back for a Ham Dinner this evening...
