November 26th Monday
It was foggy this morning and the sun came out and burned the fog away. I hobbled out of bed and made it to the bathroom and down stairs to my chair. I believe that the foot isn't as swollen as it was. When Dan was done getting cleaned up and dressed he came on down and put an ice pack on my foot and made me some coffee. He took Mr. Herbie out for his walk and he will be going to breakfast with the Heartland group this morning. I sat all day with my foot up. Carrie MacDonald from Minnesota stopped by to visit with me. Rowan Camp stopped over this afternoon to discuss his band playing for the Heartland Meet and Greet in Feb. I sat at the table for a while today also and made a necklace. Dan went out for Happy Hour and when he got back made dinner of Tilapia. It was good , but I had a problem eating again. We settled down for our Monday night comedies.. 2 Broke Girls and Mike and Molly.
November 27th Tuesday
61 degrees this morning and it is cool out. Today my foot feet feels alot better. I think that if I do one more day of ice and keeping my foot elevated should really help. Well, I wanted to have a meeting with my HOC committee about the Meet and Greet that we will be having in February. So, seeing that I was able to walk better, we met in Rockport at The Beachhouse for lunch. It was nice being able to get out after being in a chair for 5 days.
November 28th Wednesday
50 degrees this morning and cool out. Dan and Gene are going to go fishing, Once they get to the jetty boat and see what the wind is like they will make a decision if they will go on the jetty. The boat runs every hour, so if the winds are too cool and they decide that they aren't going to fish, then they have to wait an hour for the boat to come back. We, Gene and Linda and Dan and I, were suppose to go to the valley today and Then to the flea market and then over to Mexico on Thursday morning to get teeth cleaned and a walk through one of the market stores and pick up some meds. With my foot being not completely healed we decided to wait for a couple of weeks. There is alot of walking.
Went to Mexican Taqueri for Enchilada's. Gene and Linda went with us. Then went to Dairy Queen for a dessert.

November 29th Thursday
Wow, I over slept this morning and my whole routine is off wack... My foot is alot better today. I was having breakfast this morning when my friend Susan stopped by to see how I was doing. I was hobbling around and my foot is lots better. Took a few loads over to the laundry in the park.
Today I got some of my beads out and was playing around, thinking that I would make something. In the afternoon we went grocery shopping. We bought some steamed shrimp and had them for a quick dinner with some rice.
November 30th Friday
It was a warmer morning today and we had the rest of the laundry to do. So we left early and got it done, and then we went to Portland and got the mail. After we put the laundry away, it was time to go and meet our Heartland Friends for lunch. We had a Heartland Owner from Idaho parked next to us and we invited them to join us. We went to Trout Street in Port Aransas. We ate out on the porch over looking the marina.
The food was good and the company was GREAT. Afterwards we drove around and showed our neighbors a few sites and we headed back to the RV park.

December 1st Saturday
It was a nice morning and got going early as I wanted to go to the Pioneer RV park for their craft show. Gene and Linda met us there. The craft show was really nice and I bought a few things. I love those scrubbies and left my spares at home, so I bought a couple of those, I also bought some knitted dish clothes, as I should learn how to knit so I could make my own..and I also bought a hot pad in the shape of a sandal(thong).. We sat there and had a cup of coffee and visited and seen other people that we know. Then we went to the Island Cafe for a sandwich. I had a bowl of soup, and the rest had fish and chips. Wow that was good fish. There are new owners and the prices have changed. I guess it is a vote that we will go back for their fish and chips.
When we got back home our friends Ralph and Barb had arrived, and we stopped by and said hi. We were happy to see them.
Later, Dan and I were going back to Port Aransas for the Boat Parade that started the
Christmas festivities in the area. We asked if Ralph and barb wanted to join us and Ralph said that he would go as Barb had to fee the dogs and she wanted to relax and unwind. Last year we went to Aransas Pass boat parade, but this one surpassed last years, even though I expected more.

After the parade we stopped for a bite to eat at the Mexico Taqueria. By the time we got home I was ready to get jammies on and settle in.
December 2nd Sunday ~~ FISH FRY DINNER ~~
Another morning that I had to get up early and get dressed. Omar was coming to was the 5th wheel. I had some prep work to do also as we were having a fish fry with some of the red snapper (RED'S) that Dan and Gene had caught, We invited Ralph and Barb also.. Dan had hush puppies, baked beans, fish, and the others brought a dish and dessert. What a feast.. Everyone was full, with smiles on their face and left with a doggie bag.
