Welcome,

Welcome to my blog... Dan and I are always on the go and always have something to share. By the time we see or talk to you we have forgotten some of the highlights. So Hopefully you will enjoy our adventures and stories as we have enjoyed being there.

March 11th    Monday
Not much happening today..  Getting things ready for our overnight trip.

March 12th    Tuesday

We left at 7:30 AM took Herbie and Molly to Salty Dogs for an overnight stay while we head for Mexico...  Ron and Eileen and Gene and Linda went along.  Ralph and Barb followed us down there also.
We are staying overnight at Dury Inn, in McAllen.  We had a great time in Mexico.  Dan, Gene and Linda had a pedicure

March 13th    Wednesday

Up early at the Dury Inn and had a great hot breakfast. That is a great place to stay for the money.  We try to stay at one every chance we get.
Went to Kohl's and used Eileen's 30% coupon again. I picked up some new tops.  Then off to Don-Wes Flea Market. We agreed to meet at noon in the courtyard.  We headed back to Corpus Christi

March 14th    Thursday
Today was a quiet day,

We had a Heartland Dinner tonight, the last one for the winter. We met at Texas A1 Steakhouse in Portland.  We had 21 people and the food was superb..

March 15th    Friday
Dan had coffee with the boys over at What-a-burger.  I did some chores around here this morning.

March 16th   Saturday  -- Rattlesnake Races

We left early this morning for San Patrico to attend the Rattlesnake races.  If nothing else, I will see what a rattlesnake looks like..

March 17th   Sunday
St. Patricks Day..  No corn beef and cabbage today.  Dan does not like cabbage in any cooked form.. I love it, but being the nice person I am, I had bought a nice ham roast.  Put it in the oven, I invited Eileen and Ron over and told her that I'll make the ham and she can make the potatoes and veggie..
Dan and I watched the NASCAR race, and it was a quiet afternoon..   It was a very busy week, time to rest.
