~~ NEW HOME - GETTING READY TO HEAD TO TEXAS ~~
RAIN - RAIN - RAIN We sure have had our share of rain here in Tennessee.. That is OK though as they say that they needed it...The color is starting to change, but I don't think that this year is going to be as brilliant as Michigan is this year.
We waited a few days after closing before we moved our 5th wheel over to the new house. Dan had a hard time getting the 5th wheel around the circle so we could back it up.. We are going to have to have some one come on in and re-do the drive.. That is something that we will have done when we get back from Texas in March..

We went spent a day going and getting utilities changed over.. Went to get drivers license and they wanted proof of residency for 30 days. They just don't understand that we just closed on a home and came from out of state.. Oh well.. We got documentation now from Insurance company, and utilities and our passports.
Dan painted the Utility Room and the Mud Room which is off the entry to the garage. It sure looks nice.. We are going to lay down some carpeting in the Mud Room..
Then the Master bedroom was a lavender and Dan painted that room. 3 walls white with 1 wall grey. Exciting.. I can't wait to decorate it..
Our neighborhood is quiet and that is fine.. The home that we were looking at next door is still empty, the other homes are a distance from ours..
We spent lots of time at LOWE'S, looking at flooring, appliances, paints and etc. Our main goal right now is to get all the ceilings painted before we leave for Texas. Take measurements and pictures of all the rooms and decide on colors, wood flooring's and window treatments. When we get back in March we will paint the rest of the rooms and get the carpeting and have the rest of our belongings brought down here from storage.
Herbie is not letting us get to far out of his site.
On the 28th of October we pulled out for Texas.. We put the house and the work that needs to be done on the back burner for a few months..
