Welcome,

Welcome to my blog... Dan and I are always on the go and always have something to share. By the time we see or talk to you we have forgotten some of the highlights. So Hopefully you will enjoy our adventures and stories as we have enjoyed being there.

June 2014 - Green Grass, Leaves on Trees, and Mosquito's

June 2014  - Green Grass, Leaves on Trees, and Mosquito's

Since we have been home, The weather has not been warm, even though the grass is green.  Well, we had our work ready for us.  The ice was still on Lake Superior in June. The grass is green and leaves wanting to pop out.. It looked so pretty. I was so happy to see it.

Lake Superior Ice In June

I went along with 2 other friends to a Red Hat Dinner in L'Anse, with our friend Queen Kathy.. We went early in the day and visited and met her granddaughter Genevive, and then got dressed for dinner.
It was a great time as always, and had done shopping on the way home.

Since we are having the auction, we had to get moving and get our stuff, out in one area in the barn.  Alot of plastic tubs, boxes, came out.  Dan was in his shop going through his tools that he wanted to sell, and I was going through the stuff that I wanted to get rid of.

I had been a avid collector of cookbooks, and old dishes that I had collected for many years.
It hurt me to part with them, but I will survive.

After two weeks of this task, I went on a RnR with my girlfriends to Green Bay, Wisconsin for the annual Garden Fair.  What fun it was.  Shopping and then eating out at our favorite restaurants.
The garden Fair was very interesting, there were alot of plants for Fairy Gardens and Ideas for Fairy Gardens..

This has been a roller coaster ride for us. Cleaning out of stuff we don't want, going to doctors, going for tests, keeping up with other commitments.  Today, things are starting to slow down.
The realtor came out and took pictures and measurements of our home and put the "FOR SALE" sign out front.

Our Heartland Friends are in Virginia at The Heartland National Rally.  From the pictures it looks like everyone is having a GREAT time. We weren't able to make it this year, as I wanted to get Dan's doctor's appointments out of the way..

17 more days we are going to go camping with our friends to Munising Tourist Park.. I just hope that the mosquito's won't be so bad, that they carry us away.

Late July the auction is and when that is done, we will have a load taken off of our minds.

We will be taking a load of our stuff that we are keeping and putting it into a storage unit in Cookeville Tennessee.  When we get another load packed and ready we will make another run.

Well this is all for now...
