The weather here in Cookeville has been really nice...got up in the morning and had some breakfast and then went and picked up my mother and drove out to Craig's house, (my brother) My other brother Dave who is a OTR trucker was in Cookeville to get his annual physical and get his truck serviced.. The guys went over to pick him up at the terminal and then Dave, had a luncheon with his boss, so he took Craig's car and went for his lunch.. When he got back we sat visited with him and Barb. Craig made brats on grill before he went to work. Brats, salads and goodies.
Craig had to go to work. Then we decided that we were going to go out for dinner at Charlies Catfish Farm by the Campground we are parked at. It was really good and we had an enjoyable time. I said my good-byes to Dave as he was leaving in the morning heading back to Florida with a load. I had not seen Dave and Craig for about 3 years.

April 10th Tuesday
Picked up my mom and brought her back to the trailer. We had been looking through old pictures and I started scanning them. Then we went for a ride around and seeing the area.. Weather was nice again. Spent the whole day enjoying Tennessee.
April 11th Wednesday
Got up in the morning and Dan fixed breakfast and I started scanning more pictures.. Oh my, I enjoyed looking at my baby pictures.. I got the laundry together and Herbie a bag with food and treats. Took him to my mom's she was going to Herbie sit and do my laundry. Dan and I were invited out for dinner at friends home and seeing that it was a ways away, Herbie was going to stay over at Grandma's. We had a wonderful time, the food was excellent and best yet was the friends we were with.. Just AWESOME.. Got home late and it was called a night...
April 12th Thursday
It was 36 degrees this morning when we got up, chilly and Dan had the fireplace on taking the chill out of the house. Had a breakfast and then we decided that we needed to get going and pick up Mr. Herbie. Got our laundry and Herbie and Mom and we went over to Craig's house. Had coffee and a snack, then decided that we were going to come out to our place for a cookout. We had to go to Sam's Club with Craig and Barb and bought meat and fixin's for a cookout at our trailer.. We had a happy hour and then we ate and had a good time.. The sun went down and we were all full. Craig and Barb took Mother home and I got comfy and ready to relax... Nice time....

April 13th FridayThis morning I was doing some more scanning of pictures and later in the morning I got ready to pick up mother and go over to Craig's house.. Brett (Craig's golden lab) and Herbie was running around. Brett is such a nice big dog.. I spoiled him with more treats than he normally gets... We were having coffee and snacks again and we decided that we were going to go out to eat. I thought that it would be great if Craig picked the place. We got back at his house in time to go and Barb, said that she didn't want to go as she hadn't felt good..We went to someplace out in the woods called Fog Light Food House, on a river somewhere.. it was awesome. The ceiling was burlap peanut bags nailed up. Nice decor inside and out.. The food was good..
When we were done we took Craig back home, said our goodbye's and then took mom home and said Good bye's also. When back at the trailer, Dan went and got everything put away and ready to leave in the morning.

April 14th SaturdayUp early and got ready to leave at 8:15.. It was chilly in the morning. Once the sun was coming out it was warmer. We arrived in Columbus Indiana at Water and Woods Campground. It was a nice place for a overnight or a shorter stay.. Grass, gravel and water from the heavy rain that they had. We, got there about 3 PM and then we had some Beef Stew that my mom made and sent with us. Dan took Herbie out and we settled in for the evening..
April 15th Sunday
Up early again and headed out.. Nice traveling with little traffic, Dan just zipped right through Indianapolis.. There was rain and some was hard. We arrived at Elkhart Campground around 2 PM and go set-up, made some coffee and sat in our chairs to chill out.. We both dozed off. We then went and got some fuel, and Dan wanted to go and find the places that we had to be at Monday morning. Stopped and had some dinner and came back and relaxed with Herbie... Monday is going to be busy ..
