We have been in the Coastal Bend 2 1/2 months already, where had the time gone? 4 more weeks and we leave on our cruise. Our Park is full now and there are alot of new faces around. We laugh cause there are also alot of new dogs here. Just one big family....

69 degrees at 9:30 am The thunderstorms started at 5:30 am.. rained off and on most of the day..
January 10th Tuesday
43 degrees at 6:30 am Ralph and Barb and Dan and I went over to Mack 40 Kennels to check out the place, to see if it was OK for us to leave Herbie when we go on our cruise. It is a big place and very pet friendly and I think that it will work out. We are going to try a few day care trips and an overnighter, just so he knows that we will be back to pick him up..

January 11th Wednesday
49 degrees at 7:30 AM and Sunny
Went for breakfast at The Bakery Cafe and met our friends Lee and Linda from Tennessee and then we took our neighbors who own a Heartland product along..
Dan and I took a ride to Rockport and I bought some beads for a necklace and earrings... I made this necklace as I thought that it would go well when we go on cruise. This was fun to make.
I was not able to sleep again, so I got back up and watch some TV and played with the computer.. I was deleting emails and cleaning up my emails.. Finally around 2:30am I went to bed and fell asleep.
January 12th Thursday
Woke up around 8 am and Dan went over for coffee with the guys at the clubhouse. I made some cookies for Dan, and then I made 7 loaves of Yulekage. 2 of them I gave to friends and we are enjoying the rest.
January 13th Friday
39 degrees this morning and it was sweatshirt hoodie weather. Got up early and had Herbie at the groomer at 7:30 am... on the way home I stopped at the grocery store and picked up a few things.. On the way back from picking up Herbie I stopped at Wal-mart to check out a few things.
Herbie sure likes it when he is all clean and groomed.
We are off to Corpus Christi this afternoon to meet our friends from Corpus and have a late lunch/early dinner with them, and then we will stop at Kohls as I have a 30% coupon that I have to use. I get alot of 30%'s and there is always something that I can find.
Janaury 14th Saturday
33 degrees at 6:30 AM There was frost on the clubhouse roof and on the truck.. Checked the weather for the next 10 days and warm weather is coming back. Met our friends Gene and LaVerne for breakfast at The Bakery Cafe.. Then afterwards Dan and I went to the Civic Center for market days. Lots of Vendors and lots of people there also.. Stopped at Bealls to see what we could spend a 30% coupons on. Dan found something and I found something. Came back and I sat in the sun for a while. I decided that I need to get some color in my skin for when we go on the cruise... I made another necklace and earring set.
Had Happy Hour at our place and then Dan made steaks for dinner...

Went and washed clothes this morning..
Went with friends to see Patsy Cline story at playhouse in Aransas Pass this afternoon.. It was an excellent show.
We are going to Corpus Christi for Chinese tonight. Taking our friends Ralph and Barb along with us. The food sure tasted good, and the company was great also.
