March 22nd Thursday
It was a nice sunny morning out. Dan made breakfast and we sat out side and finished our coffee and chatted with passer Byers. We went and washed his truck and while he was gone I went and visited with Ralph, Barb, Joanne and Bruce. They were finishing their breakfast of homemade waffles and strawberries at Bruce and Joanne's rig. Plans were made to go to Beaches Cafe and Bakery in Port Aransas. As usual the food was good and so were the desserts..
March 23rd FridayThis morning there was light fog coming in, but as soon as the sun came out it went away. Another nice morning, which we took advantage of and sat out and had our coffee. After having a little lunch we took a drive over to Lamarch drove through Goose Island State park. It has been many years since we had been there. There was nice camping on the gulf. Concrete canopies with concrete tables.. Would be nice to stay there for a few nights and watch the stars.. The Clubhouse is almost done and everyone is working diligently to meet the deadline for tomorrows open house.
We stayed home for dinner and had some delicious homemade chili that I made a few days ago, with some french bread, oh yummy. Chili is always good after it sits a few days.
Sat outside again and enjoyed the nice evening..
March 24th Saturday
Dan made 2 key lime pies for Sunday happy hour.... Those pies are really good. After we got done cleaning up, we went to Bealls as we had 5 20% off coupons that we had to use... I got some jewelry, Dan bought some shorts and I bought capri's and a purse....
Came back and Gene and Linda were here and Wilma and Jim, waiting for us so we could all walk over to the clubhouse and see the new building that is finished and have a scrumptious lunch... We are looking forward to coming back next year and enjoying the amenities...
Then we went back later and listened to the Winter Texan Band and visited with the guests and friends from other parks.... It was a fun day..
